Compare Fueltek products

Compare the roles of Fueltek control terminals, dispensers and tank monitoring. A complete installation may combine several of these products.

All seven product roles are shown below.

Standalone access control

FT4000

Consider when
The site already has suitable pumps, or the user terminal needs to sit separately from the dispensing equipment. FT4000 adds authorised access and transaction recording around compatible pumps that can be retained.
Equipment arrangement
A standalone Fuel Access Control Terminal controls up to four pumps simultaneously. Plinth-mounted and wall-mounted formats are available. The plinth unit is 1,590 mm high with a 455 mm × 455 mm base; the wall unit has a 400 mm wide × 545 mm high front face. Pumping and metering hardware remain separate.
Operator workflow
The configured tag, disk or card identifies the authorised user or asset. Keypad options support site-defined entries such as driver IDs, fleet numbers, odometer readings and job codes before the fuel issue is recorded.
Reporting and records
The terminal communicates with Fueltek FMO for browser-based reports and access administration. Its minimum capacity is 2,000 transactions between downloads, with non-volatile memory retaining stored transactions during a mains power failure.
What makes it different
Choose the control arrangement around the pumps. Unlike an integrated dispenser, the FT4000 itself does not determine the pump’s flow rate or provide the fuel hose and nozzle.
Your installation
Check each retained pump and meter interface, the number of controlled points, terminal position, identification method and communications. Agree the information required from the operator and who maintains the FMO records.

Integrated dispensing

FT4000AP

Consider when
Create or replace a managed fuelling point with pumping, metering, hose, nozzle and user control brought together in one cabinet. It suits a project where the dispenser and management system are specified as one unit.
Equipment arrangement
One internal pump operates with Fueltek access control, and the unit can also control up to three compatible external pumps. Its four-pump control capability describes one integrated pump plus external equipment, rather than four pumps inside the cabinet.
Operator workflow
The selected tag, disk or card authorises dispensing. The keypad can capture odometer readings, driver IDs, fleet numbers and job codes, while the integrated meter measures the fuel issued.
Reporting and records
Recorded transactions are communicated to Fueltek FMO for browser-based reporting. The terminal also supports user and vehicle messages, access administration and a minimum primary capacity of 2,000 transactions.
What makes it different
Pump options are 50, 70 or 90 litres per minute, with 70 LPM standard. Twin adds a second independent integrated pump; standalone FT4000 controls separate pumping equipment.
Your installation
Review tank supply, required flow, vehicle positions, hose reach, power and any external pumps. The pump, meter, fluid, identification and communications must suit the actual installation.

Two simultaneous dispensing positions

FT4000AP Twin

Consider when
Two vehicles or operators need to dispense at the same time. Review Twin where simultaneous demand, the vehicle route and separate product requirements shape the layout of a busy depot or fuelling island.
Equipment arrangement
Two independent pumps, two meters and two motors provide simultaneous integrated dispensing. Single-sided and double-sided layouts are available, with control of up to eight pumps in total including external pumps.
Operator workflow
Each side can have its own access arrangement, such as a numeric keypad and Datatag on one side and compatible fuel-card or QWERTY-style access on the other.
Reporting and records
Transactions and access administration form part of the wider Fueltek FMO installation. Reports can run automatically each day, week or month. Non-volatile memory retains recorded transactions during a power failure.
What makes it different
Twin provides two concurrent dispensing paths. Diesel flow options are 50, 70 or 90 LPM per pump. Each side’s components and flow depend on its product and configuration.
Your installation
Define the product, tank supply, access method and dispensing arrangement for each side. Check approach and exit routes, simultaneous demand and any external pumps alongside the required power and communications.

High-speed diesel dispensing

FT4000 HSP

Consider when
Large diesel fills and the available refuelling window make flow rate a central specification question. Typical operating briefs include commercial vehicles and plant with substantial fill volumes and a defined turnaround requirement.
Equipment arrangement
HSP is available as a pump-only unit or an integrated managed system, with 90, 150 or 180 litres per minute options and a choice of hose and nozzle arrangements.
Operator workflow
In the managed configuration, a selected tag, disk or card controls access and the measured dispense is recorded. A pump-only order needs its separate access and recording arrangements agreed as part of the wider installation.
Reporting and records
The integrated managed configuration connects to Fueltek FMO for transaction reporting, access-device programming and administration. The managed dispenser includes these functions; a pump-only unit uses the control arrangement specified for the site.
What makes it different
HSP addresses higher-flow diesel dispensing at the fuel point. Increasing flow and providing two simultaneous dispensing positions are different decisions, so compare HSP with Twin against the actual arrival and fill pattern.
Your installation
The tank supply, pipework, hose and nozzle determine the flow delivered to the vehicle. Filler arrangements, fill volume, power and communications form part of the installation design.

Dedicated AdBlue dispensing

FT4000AB

Consider when
The operation needs a dedicated AdBlue dispensing point, either on its own or alongside other managed site products. The AdBlue supply and compatible dispensing components form a distinct part of the installation.
Equipment arrangement
FT4000AB combines a 35 LPM AdBlue pump, nutating-disc meter and 3.66 m hose with an automatic cut-off nozzle. The integral pump has a maximum continuous run time of 20 minutes. Managed and pump-only formats are available.
Operator workflow
The managed system identifies users or vehicles and records each measured AdBlue issue. Datatag is standard; compatible magnetic-card and DataNozzle readers are alternatives. The terminal has a quarter-VGA backlit display and stores 2,000 transactions between downloads in non-volatile memory.
Reporting and records
The managed configuration uses Fueltek FMO for reports, access-device administration and wider system management. This allows the AdBlue point to form part of the Fueltek network while keeping its product and dispensing requirements explicit.
What makes it different
FT4000AB is purpose-built for AdBlue: 35 LPM, a 240 V single-phase 6 A motor and a nutating-disc meter accurate to ±0.5%.
Your installation
Agree the AdBlue storage, compatible supply connections, expected fills and managed or pump-only format. Specify the identification and reporting process alongside the power, communications and wider site layout.

Separate identification point

Compact

Consider when
The operator needs a dedicated identification and access point away from the dispenser. Equipment position, available space and the route through the fuelling lane drive the choice of a separate user position.
Equipment arrangement
A pedestal-mounted interaction point forms part of the agreed fuel-control installation. The readers, keypad, controls, pump interfaces and communications are selected and confirmed for the specific project.
Operator workflow
The driver or operative uses the separate point to identify themselves and complete the site-defined authorisation steps. Plan its position around where the person stands and how they move between the vehicle and dispensing equipment.
Reporting and records
The recording and reporting capability depends on the approved control arrangement. Agree the connection to the wider system, required transaction fields and communications rather than assuming a fixed standalone specification.
What makes it different
The decision centres on the location of the user controls. It is a separate interaction point within a system, and should be compared with FT4000 control or integrated dispensing in the context of the complete layout.

Tank stock monitoring

Tankwatch

Consider when
The site needs a clearer view of stored fuel or AdBlue, available tank capacity, deliveries, stock movements and alarms. These measurements support stock review and replenishment planning alongside the fuel-issue records.
Equipment arrangement
Calibrated probes connect to a local Tankwatch control panel at the tank. The system can operate independently or integrate with other Fueltek equipment, with the probe and calibration chosen for the tank geometry.
Local operation
The local display gives site and delivery teams stock, ullage and movement information. Audible and visual alarms highlight configured conditions; pump isolation requires the appropriate interface and setup.
Reporting and records
TankWatch supports browser-based stock reporting and scheduled emails. Reporting connections and recipients are configured around your tank installation and wider fuel management system.
What makes it different
Tankwatch measures what is in the tank. Fuel-control terminals record authorised issues at the dispensing point. A complete installation may use both to review recorded fuel use alongside physical stock and delivery information.
Your installation
Check tank geometry, fluid, probe selection and calibration, local display position, power and communications. Agree remote reporting, any pump-protection connection, and the people responsible for stock checks and alarm response.
