Privacy & browser storage

Cookie Policy

This policy explains the cookies and similar browser-storage technologies used by the Fueltek website, why they are used, and how you can control optional features.

Last updated: 1 September 2026

What we use

Cookies are small files stored on a device. Similar technologies, including local storage and session storage, can also store or access information in a browser. Fueltek uses essential browser storage for requested website functions and a consent record. The homepage also contains Vimeo video players configured with Vimeo's Do Not Track setting. Optional analytics or marketing technologies are only permitted where you choose to allow them.

The Vimeo players are not blocked by the cookie banner because they are configured in privacy mode with dnt=1 to prevent Vimeo player session tracking. Rejecting optional cookies therefore does not stop Fueltek videos from playing.

Essential browser storage

These items support requested website features or remember settings you have chosen. They are not used for advertising.

On a narrow screen, scroll sideways to see every column. With a keyboard, focus the table area and use the left and right arrow keys.

Vimeo embedded videos

The homepage contains videos supplied through Vimeo. Fueltek configures these embeds with Vimeo's Do Not Track option (dnt=1), which is intended to prevent the Vimeo player from tracking session data, including cookies. This allows the video players to load without being disabled by the cookie banner; playback starts only when the visitor chooses to play a video.

Vimeo is still a third-party service and your browser communicates with Vimeo when the embedded player loads. Vimeo may use technologies that are necessary for player delivery, security or service operation. You can review Vimeo's own privacy information at vimeo.com/privacy.

The privacy-mode Vimeo players are not categorised as optional analytics or advertising by this website.

Your choices

On your first visit, the Fueltek banner gives you equally accessible options to accept optional analytics/marketing technologies, reject them, or manage each setting. The current build does not load a third-party analytics or advertising tag. If those technologies are added later, the consent version should be updated so visitors are asked again.

Changing or clearing your choice

Use the Cookie settings control shown at the bottom of the website. You can also clear site data through your browser settings. If Fueltek materially changes the purposes for which optional technologies are used, the consent version will be updated so visitors can choose again.

Practical guidance

What happens when you prepare an enquiry

The website’s enquiry tools prepare a message for you to review and send.

Email and WhatsApp drafts

Opening a draft passes the prepared text to the selected email or WhatsApp service. You decide whether to send it there. The message is handled by that service as well as by Fueltek when received.

Copy and downloaded reports

Copying places text on your device’s clipboard. A downloaded report is saved on your device; take care when sharing it or using a shared computer.

Choose what you include

Include the contact and site details needed for the enquiry. Avoid passwords or unnecessary personal information. Recruitment enquiries are sent through your email service to the recruitment address.

Questions about received information

For questions about personal information sent to Fueltek, contact info@fueltek.co.uk. This browser-storage page describes website behaviour; it does not set out the full company policy for retaining and using enquiry or recruitment records.

Product information

Personal information and your rights

We use the contact details you send us to respond to your enquiry and provide assistance. Personal information is kept private and stored securely until it is no longer needed. Marketing messages require your express permission, and you can unsubscribe.

You can request access to, correction or deletion of personal information by emailing sales@fueltek.co.uk. Our email marketing service uses Mailchimp. Preparing a message in this website’s enquiry tools does not send it; you choose when to send it through your email or messaging service.
